Life Is Sweet
This piece is printed on metal and I used an image of Kanye West in the background for this piece. I made it during his divorce and liked the juxtaposition of his stoic face and the “Life is Sweet” quote underneath. Kayne wrote, "Never was much of a romantic, /I could never take the intimacy. /And I know I did damage, /'Cause the look in your eyes is killing me, /I guess you've got another advantage /'Cause you could blame me for everything. /And I don't know how I'm a manage, /If one day you just up and leave.” The piece looks the best under a black light since the heart and quote completely glow in neon green paint. I used sugar on his face to make it glisten before completing it with a final coat of acrylic resin.

Jessica
This is one of my absolute favorite pieces! I originally painted a yellow background and then use a toilet plunger I found in my art studio to paint at least 10 layers of different colored circles all over it. I wanted to originally call it ‘The Plunge’. However when my childhood best friend Jessica came to visit me and saw it she said it looked like it was missing something. I had to agree. I therefore decided to paint a huge neon pink heart on top of it and then used hundreds of teen little hearts all over it, which added a ton of beautiful complexity to this gorgeous piece. I named it after my best friend Jessica and finished it by putting a final layer of acrylic resin on top of it to give it a glossy shine. It looks completely different under a black light, which I love. All of us are complex and I love how one piece can represent the complexity inside each of us. It is signed and framed in a white lacquer frame. It will be the highlight of any room and needs black lights to show the different looks.

Lady Butterfly
This was one of the first pieces I ever made and was finished in 2020. I used an image of Marilyn Monroe, one of my favorite muses as the primary image in the background and then used acrylic paint to layer it with various colors. I painted it during the time my father was losing his battle with cancer, which was obviously a difficult period in my life. I used my hands to paint handprints all over it and wanted her to look like she was coming out of the painting. Marilyn once said, “Sometimes things fall apart, so that better things can fall together.” This piece represents how struggle creates strength. When you see a caterpillar struggling to break free from its cocoon, wiggling and shaking, one would be tempted to help it by cutting it out. What I learned is that if you cut it out, it would not have the strength to become a butterfly since the struggle is part of the metamorphosis where it eventually becomes a butterfly. This is a vibrant piece with so much soul. It is framed and will be signed prior to shipping.

She Is
This original piece was named SHE IS since to represent strength and growth. I used multiple layers to create her and there are multiple bright yellow circles that surround her. It is finished with a layer of acrylic lacquer that makes it shine. She is strong and powerful and represents the inner strength I wanted to channel when creating her. Her stoic face show she is serious yet strong and wise. Her finger on her mouth makes a mustache, which gives her a masculine strength and her voluptuous body gives her a feminine softness. She is sexy and strong. She is determined and capable. Her hair is partially painted with blue, glow in the dark highlights. She looks amazing in a black light. This piece will be the highlight of the room and will change from day to night. Make sure to use a black light to make her light up when it is dark. The piece is framed (not shown here) in black lacquer. I will sign it prior to shipping
