Woman
This piece was originally painted with acrylic on lacquer. I used my fingers to paint her hair and used many of my favorite colors to create her beautiful flowing hair. The piece represents how vibrant and colorful we all are as humans. It celebrates the beautiful gift of life and specifically the vibrancy of inner strength. I printed this piece on metal, which give it a beautiful glossy vibe that will surely light up any room. I will sign it prior to shipment.

Lady Butterfly
This was one of the first pieces I ever made and was finished in 2020. I used an image of Marilyn Monroe, one of my favorite muses as the primary image in the background and then used acrylic paint to layer it with various colors. I painted it during the time my father was losing his battle with cancer, which was obviously a difficult period in my life. I used my hands to paint handprints all over it and wanted her to look like she was coming out of the painting. Marilyn once said, “Sometimes things fall apart, so that better things can fall together.” This piece represents how struggle creates strength. When you see a caterpillar struggling to break free from its cocoon, wiggling and shaking, one would be tempted to help it by cutting it out. What I learned is that if you cut it out, it would not have the strength to become a butterfly since the struggle is part of the metamorphosis where it eventually becomes a butterfly. This is a vibrant piece with so much soul. It is framed and will be signed prior to shipping.

Music Saved My Life
This original art piece was made using 50+ record cover album photos with the primary image of Lenny Kravitz in the center wearing a “Music Saved My Life” tee shirt. I put dark curly hair, cut from a wig on his head to make it 3D and also added a cross, embellished with turquoise and red details. I then added acrylic resin on top and once it dried painted yellow crosses all over it, each with jewels or turquoise crosses added in the center. I also added yellow butterflies on it, since the metamorphosis of a butterfly represents how the struggle creates strength. The butterflies represent change and transformation, hope and positivity. I believe that music is healing and I love the representation of music, butterflies and God in this bright piece. It is signed and dated on the back.
